June 2025 US cutting tool orders drop to $204.1M
Shipments of cutting tools totaled $204.1 million in June 2025, declining 1.8% from May 2025 and 3.9% from June 2024. Year-to-date shipments totaled $1.23 billion, a drop of 4.9% from the same period in 2024.

Mazak ramps up service with new Phoenix Technical Center
As manufacturing operations expand across the Western United States, Mazak Corp. has grown its service and support network in the region by opening a new Phoenix Technical Center, scheduled for later this year. The facility will give local manufacturers access to process and application engineering expertise, training, and collaboration opportunities for developing new manufacturing solutions.

Mazak achieves production milestone
Mazak has built its 40,000th machine at the company's Mazak iSmart Factory in Florence, Kentucky. The 518,320-square-foot facility, situated on Mazak's nearly 1-million-square-foot manufacturing campus, produces many of Mazak's most popular machine models, including its Quick Turn Series machines, VTC Series machines, and Ez Series of turning and milling centers. It is home to the company's U.S. manufacturing technology R&D efforts.
