The series is now introducing TCS18 and TCL18 inserts designed for left-hand cuts, expanding the product lines that, up to now, has offered right-hand inserts only. Grooving and parting tools commonly used in most of the operations performed in conventional CNC lathes and Swiss machines are right-handed.

Lockable indexing plungers GN 814 of stainless steel have the same basic functions as JW Winco's tried and tested selection of indexing plungers. What's new is the clever addition of a locking function for greater safety and security. This is accomplished with a lock integrated into the black plastic head.

The basis for the extraordinary flexibility of the HELITRONIC MINI PLUS is the unique WALTER gantry design. DrillMeister drill sleeves are available in 16, 25, and 32 millimeters in diameters for metric sizes and 3/4 inches and one inch for imperial sizes that fit the drill holders of the same sizes equipped in Swiss lathes. All drill sleeves have a threaded connecting port on the sleeve end for easy coolant hose connection.

The DMH drill head features a fracture resistant design that is suitable for applications that involve drilling holes through thin-walled sections of workpieces. In normal circumstances, thin walls tend to spring back on the drill after the drill pierces through and exits the hole.

The research and development team at Blaser Swisslube, a Swiss expert in metalworking fluids, set about planning and implementing an idea to capture a machining process, chip formation and the behavior of the metalworking fluid more precisely than ever before through photos and videos.

These WXN15 grade coated inserts are all introduced with a highly positive shaped geometry, which is particularly effective in machining ISO N materials. When used in advanced cutter bodies like the new Xtra·tec® XT M5468 button insert milling cutter, with G88 geometry, this also increases productivity when performing machining operations on deep shoulders with excellent chip removal.
