Methods Machine Tools Inc. has introduced the compact high-precision Nakamura-Tome MX-100 multitasking turning center, offering high productivity milling and turning for a wide array of part manufacture, including medical. A rigid construction, as well as advanced software, smart features and a 96-tool capacity, provide exceptional accuracy and productivity.

Now equipped with the fast and powerful Mazatrol SmoothX CNC is the Mazak VTC-800G-30S vertical traveling column machine.

Mazak Corp.'s family of hybrid multitask machining centers includes the VTC-300C FSW, which combines advanced milling capabilities with friction stir welding (FSW) technology. With a full traveling-column design, automatic toolchanger and powerful 40-taper spindle in addition to the FSW package, this machine helps shops achieve reduced lead times and greater part accuracy with less required capital equipment and floor space – all while enabling completely novel methods for processing parts with strong welds.

Mazak Corp. offers its Multiplex W-200Y Multi-Tasking CNC turning center, which can be paired with a GL150 gantry loader/unloader for continues part flow. The factory-supplied GL150 gantry loader/unloader provides fast workpiece exchanges to achieve approximately 20% shorter load/unload times thanks to a new rack-and-pinion design that allows for simultaneous motion of doors, chuck confirmations and linear rail motion to reduce overall tack times.
