Individually, the CoroDrill 462 offers high performance hole making up to 3.00 mm. Ideal for drilling both blind and through holes, the drill is capable of machining a variety of ISO materials, including ISO P, M, K, N, S, O and H. The Xtra·tec XT M5009 face milling cutter has a 45° approach angle, is available in diameters of 25-160 mm (1-6 in.) and provides a depth of cut of 5 or 6.5 mm. It features three pitches for different applications (tools with wide and medium pitch for insert size SN X1205 are designed with carbide shim), and either ScrewFit or shell mill mount interfaces.

20 inserts in HP-style chipbreaker are now available in WavyJoint style; namely, 4QS-CNGG1204..-HP, 4QS-DNGG1504..-HP, 6QS-TNGG1604..-HP, and 4QS-VNGG1604..-HP inserts. Conventionally, CBN cutting tips are brazed onto the seats ground, usually on one side, on a cemented carbide insert body to form a CBN insert. The WavyJoint technology further enhances the bond of CBN cutting tips on negative inserts with 160% increased brazing surface between the CBN tip and carbide insert body. Also, the technology uses 200% larger volume CBN tips for improved insert reliability and tool life. In addition, CNGG1204..-HP inserts are also available in wiper geometry, increasing surface finishing quality.

CoroCut QI is divided into internal grooving and face grooving application areas, and is an upgrade of the T-max Q-Cut® 151.3 program. The improved design allows for greater chip control, a 10% productivity increase, 20% improved tool life aided by tighter edge-rounding tolerances and internal coolant for both internal and face grooving tools.

Ramping down, the cutter first bottom-cuts the surface with the leading insert, then further cuts the same surface with its trailing insert. DoFeedTri inserts are designed with a long "inner" cutting edge that can bottom-cut more material than conventional milling inserts when trailing the leading insert during ramp down operations. This makes DoFeedTri a perfect tool for productive ramp down operations.

Positive with four cutting edges, it can be used on both sides, thus combining long tool life and high metal removal rates with greater cost-efficiency. The polished rake face improves chip removal, and the extremely sharp cutting edge creates a softer cutting action, important factors in the insert's positive reception by the market. The softer cutting action enables successful machining of unstable components and components with long overhangs.
