EcoAir® 325 Tool & Die Rust Preventative has proved to be a great development for molders. This ready- to-use vegetable oil/solvent-based liquid is packaged in EcoAir® spray cans that rely on compressed air rather than traditional aerosol propellants. It is easy to atomize over a large surface area such as the interior of a plastic injection mold or die.

Speeders improve surface finish and reduce cycle times when machining small holes and soft materials, without lengthy acceleration ramps. Reducers optimize the lower speed, higher torque requirements of large holes and tough materials without sacrificing horsepower. In-line holders utilize ER style collets and are available on extensions to machine between chuck jaws.

The MC128 Advance boasts a wide diameter range of 1/4 -3/4 in. (2-25 mm) with a TiAIN coating for universal use. WJ30TF grade is available for ISO materials P, M, K, and S. The MC128 Advance is well suited for die and mold work as well as general metalworking.

The FBX drill is part of a tooling concept specifically developed to maximize metal removal rates and decrease cycle times when machining aerospace structural components. Quickly removing large amounts of material remains a challenge for these types of components. Traditionally, the first process step is to enter the material by using ramping techniques.

It represents a highly productive alternative to conventional turning where 80° & 35° corner inserts are fed in the same direction, and instead utilizes all 4 directions available on conventional 2 axis lathe (+Z, -Z, +X, -X) to maximize material removal.
