Mitutoyo America has launched the MiSTAR 575 shop floor CNC coordinate measuring machine (CMM).

The L.S. Starrett Company will be featuring the automated inspection capabilities of its metrology and force measurement systems at Manufacturing Technology Series East (EASTEC).

In a booth full of technology from multi-sensor vision systems, video-based inspection and measurement systems, and even old-school optical comparators, it was a small touchscreen indicator that packed a lot of punch.

The NVH G-EAR system can identify potential gear defects at the component level prior to gear box assembly.
