Mazak Corp.'s Quick Turn 450 CNC turning center combines advanced technology, productivity and value to deliver exceptional part processing for shops large and small. Additionally, Mazak now offers the machine with an optional, powerful 60-hp integral motor main spindle.

Mazak Corp. offers its Kentucky-built Quick Turn 250MSY multitasking machine, which can be paired with GR100 gantry robot automation for continuous Done In One part production. The Quick Turn 250MSY features two turning spindles, milling capability and Y-axis off-centerline machining. Its main turning spindle headstock features a 10" chuck mounted on a 35-hp, 4,000-rpm integrated spindle motor that generates 343 ft.-lbs. of torque for heavy-duty metal removal.

Mazak's Quick Turn-200MSY turning center combines several features that allow shops to boost productivity and profitability. These include a direct servo-driven turret design, integral motor main and second spindle design, a faster, more powerful milling spindle and Mazak's Mazatrol SmoothG CNC.

Mazak Corp. offers the high-performance (HP) configuration of its versatile QTU-350 turning center. The Kentucky-built machine can be paired with a RoboJob TA200 automation package to further boost the productivity of this simple, but innovative machine.

Mazak Corp. offers its Multiplex W-200Y Multi-Tasking CNC turning center, which can be paired with a GL150 gantry loader/unloader for continues part flow. The factory-supplied GL150 gantry loader/unloader provides fast workpiece exchanges to achieve approximately 20% shorter load/unload times thanks to a new rack-and-pinion design that allows for simultaneous motion of doors, chuck confirmations and linear rail motion to reduce overall tack times.

Mazak Corp.'s Integrex i-500 advanced multitask machine is the biggest model in the Integrex i Series family and offers manufacturers more options for machining large, complex workpieces. The machine is available with a 5.2" bore and a 15" chuck on the main horizontal turning spindle and is capable of C-axis indexing in 0.0001-degree increments and comes standard with a 40-hp (30 kW) integral spindle motor that provides a maximum spindle speed of 2,500 rpm.

Mazak Corp. has introduced its new Mazatrol SmoothAi CNC, which is available on the Integrex i-450H S Multi-Tasking Machine. In addition to the control, the machine has a new design that increases flexibility and enhances machine performance for significantly easier automation integration, allowing shops to cost effectively boost the output of existing workforces.

Mazak Corp.'s Integrex i-400ST multitask machine is available with two turning spindles, a milling spindle and lower turret – a configuration that can process first and second operations simultaneously or perform required sequential operations on a single workpiece. With Done In One part production ability to handle all processes from raw material input through final machining, the Integrex i-400ST reduces lead times dramatically and eliminates multiple setups for improved part accuracy.

Shaft manufacturing is a core function in automotive production. While in recent years drive and transmission shafts were the focus of production planners, the success of e-mobility also increases the demand for productive rotor shaft manufacturing. Therefore, there is a need for a manufacturing solution that is able to machine a great variety of components. All these components have one thing in common: large unit volumes and very high-quality requirements. After all, the efficiency of the entire drive train depends on the quality and functionality of the shafts. The vertical 4-axis shaft turning machines of the VT series are ideal for this task. When it comes to machining components with a maximum length of 630 millimeters and a maximum diameter of 200 millimeters, the machine is able to make full use of its qualities.

As part of Hexagon's philosophy of supporting data-driven smart factories, the latest release of ALPHACAM CAD/CAM software speeds up how jobs that require several processes are managed. A new job type has been introduced in ALPHACAM 2020.1. The new "Multiple Process Jobs" functionality makes it simpler to create jobs and orders in the ALPHACAM Automation Manager for jobs that need to be output to more than one machine or that require secondary processing at the same machine.
