The PI motorized optical mounts are suited for laser applications and are available for ambient and vacuum conditions. Motorized kinematic mirror mounts provide a means to control the pitch and yaw axes of a mirror, usually to direct or deflect a laser beam. To achieve large angles up to 16 degrees while keeping the dimensions as small as possible, the N-480 series kinematic motorized optical mirror mounts are equipped with long travel, high resolution piezo motors.

Featured on new GF Machining Solutions' CUT P Pro Series wire EDMs, the iWire function works in tandem with the company's Intelligent Spark Protection System (ISPS), both of which are part of the company's Uniqua control.

All CUT P Pro Series machines optimize production for electronics, automotive, medical and mold and die manufacturers with more than 600 pre-programmed cutting processes. On the CUT P 550 Pro, these cover a wide range of parts from less than 0.04" to 15.75" (less than 1 mm to 400 mm) in height and weights up to 3,307 lb (1,500 kg), in materials such as steel, carbide, copper, aluminum, titanium, polycrystalline diamond (PCD) and graphite.

NC4+ Blue systems use Renishaw's non-contact tool setting software package, which continues to evolve to ensure rapid, robust and reliable measurement even in wet conditions. Auto-optimization technology within the software automatically adjusts the movement of the tool in and out of the beam to minimize any wasted movement and therefore cycle time. While features such as a dual measurement mode, where the tool is measured as it exits the laser beam and an advanced tool cleaning option, help ensure the tool is free from debris and coolant during measurement. Further enhancements to tool run-out and profile measurement cycles deliver increased functionality and reliability to advanced users.

The machine's repeatability and top quality result from a pure atmosphere during printing, a consistently low-oxygen environment with fewer than 25 parts per million. This solution ensures excellent microstructures, very high material density and stable mechanical properties.

As with all of GF Machining Solutions' LASER machines, the LASER P 400 series offers repeatable high performance, consistent accuracy and unvarying quality. Fully digitized texturing makes it easy to texture, mark, engrave and add functional surfaces to parts, molds and dies, even when dealing with complex 3D parts.

This latest release of software enables the XK10 to take measurements at multiple points along each rail. The benefit of an increased number of measurement points is that the straightness of each rail is also measured at the same time. Parallelism between the rails can then be determined by looking at the difference in straightness at each point, giving a more accurate picture than a measurement of the overall angle between rails.

The HP-L-10.10 complements Hexagon's extensive offering of sensor solutions for CMMs, providing manufacturers greater flexibility projects with confidence that their CMM investment can take on the broadest range of measurement applications from larger sheet-metal parts to intricate electric vehicle components. Available for the GLOBAL S productivity line and GLOBAL Advantage CMMs.

The E-709 compact digital piezo servo controller / amplifier and driver was designed providing 20kHz sampling rate, twice the power of its predecessor along with multiple times is positioning resolution. When used in image processing, scanning and microscopy applications, its advanced features such as high-performance linearization, high speed tracking, and PI's unique F3 capability (Fast Focus & Freeze) come in handy. When used with a fast objective focusing motor such as the P-725, the autofocus drive can be bumplessly switched from an external (focus) sensor to the integrated position sensor inside the focusing stage. This feature allows for calibrated, precise, and highly stable motions on a nanometer scale, with respect to the focal plane.

In the FocusONE laser machine, SCANLAB's micro-drilling head is connected to an optical measuring system via EtherCAT. The stoba measuring system can inspect drill holes starting from 25 µm in diameter. The integrated software for machine control analyzes the measuring results and automatically adapts the process parameters as required. If, for example, the drilling result shows a trend which indicates a reduction in the diameter of a few µm, the system automatically corrects the drilling diameter based on an individually set threshold. For reliable batch tracing, the entire production process is, of course, comprehensively monitored and recorded.

The Ruler3000 combines SICK's groundbreaking Ranger3 streaming camera with a Class 2 eye-safe laser, pre-selected optics and fixed geometries to enable much simpler configuration and commissioning. With industry-standard compliance giving comprehensive access to machine vision software tools, the Ruler3000 dramatically cuts time and complexity when integrating more demanding inspection, measurement, and robot guidance tasks across a wide range of industries.
