With five axes of motion and storage for 40 tools, the machine can grind thread grooves and also machine the nut circumference, end surface, key grooves, and return tube holes in a single setup. In addition to producing large savings in manufacturing time, elimination of setup changeovers also assures exact phase alignment of thread grooves and return tube holes.

The Micro End Mills feature a patented neck design with up to 10x diameter, enabling reach into deep contours. For optimal machining performance, a high radial bending strength withstands alternating stress on the cutting edge and relieved neck.

More cost-effective than comparable systems but just as easy on tools, the AB735 synchronous threading adaptor maximizes tool performance. In addition to the minimized wear, the modular design of the adaptor also contributes to cost-efficiency: Exchangeable front pieces for different thread sizes or tool diameters (ER16 to ER32) can be used with the same collet.

The expanded range of ANSI tap collets is fully compatible with existing powRgrip holders and only require shanks with tolerances of h9 or better. Manufactured with an internal square, these collets are specifically designed for use on CNC machines with synchronized machine spindle speeds and feed rates.

The new set of packages allows manufacturers to get started with powRgrip as quickly as possible for their particular toolholding needs. Packages includes a PGC-A handpump clamping unit, five toolholders and 10 PG collets. Holders are available with CAT 40, BT 30, HSK-A63 and HSK-E40 interfaces with standard collets in PH10, PG15, and PG25 sizes.

Kurt's PF 420, PF 440 and PF 460 vises come with standard 4-inch jaw width and jaw openings ranging from 2.625" to 6.625" making them the perfect vise for any customer's workholding applications. PF-series vises replace the previous Kurt HP models and feature the patented AngLock® design to minimize jaw lift and deflection.

The line provides positioning accuracy and repeatability of +/- 1µm. A thermal compensation system employs sensors on the machine faceplate and inside the spindle to minimize the effects of temperature changes on part accuracy and cut temperature-generated displacement by 60 percent. This system also reduces Z-axis thermal growth and deflection by 30 percent.

Specially designed coolant holes that are central to the body diameter and ID diameter to maintain the thickest and strongest body design for superior grip strength with coolant flow directly targeted at the "vortex" intersection for maximum coolant follow to and through the cutting flutes.

The 2-jaw module can handle turning applications up to 1,500 RPM. Due to its compact profile, it is the perfect alternative to large and heavy centric vises. The 2-jaw and 3-jaw module use the HAINBUCH collet chuck as their base.

Ideal for high volume lathe and mill turn applications, the HFKS-2G is optimum for heavy duty precision machining of easily deformed workpieces.

Eliminating unnecessary reaching and other operator movements enhances ergonomics, and can speed production. Proven Verti-Lift positioners are available in various lift capacities, base and turntable sizes, and vertical travel.

The reCool ERAX uses the patented reCool design to deliver coolant with a maximum pressure of 1,450 psi in live tooling applications with speeds up to 12,000 rpm. Equally well suited for emulsion and oil coolants, the system is currently available for ER collet sizes 16, 20, 25 and 32 to handle tools between 3-20 mm in diameter.
