The ShapeSmart®NP50 is a 5-axis Precision Cylindrical Pinch/Peel grinding machine with integrated 3-axis robot loader and grinding diameter range from 0.025 – 25 mm (.001"– 1").
Standard couplers are axial couplers with threaded fasteners commonly used in sensor technology. With their method of fixing these are easy to install and are quickly integrated, thanks to their plug & play functionality. The built-in LED display notifies the user of the system's status at all times. Radial couplers for rotary applications are available with diameters of up to 280 mm and large internal diameters. An inductive coupler system consists of a stationary coupler and a movable mobile coupler.
Providing excellent repeatability that is guaranteed within 10 microns, the CCS can be installed in under three minutes on new or existing lathes that saves time and increases operator productivity. A standard adapter system provides automatic push off and easy mounting to all types of traditional or custom workholding including 2-jaw chucks, 3-jaw chucks, collet chucks, mandrels, and manual fixtures, among others.
TungTurn-Jet toolholders deliver coolant strategically to the optimum position close to the cutting point of the insert. This significantly improves chip control when machining exotic materials that are prone to smearing by effectively breaking the chips into pieces and guiding them away from the cut, which was difficult using a traditional external coolant nozzle method. DrillMeister incorporates a unique self-locking interface that enables simple and secure drill head exchange. Since drill heads can be replaced without having to remove the drill body from the spindle, tool setup time can significantly be reduced, eliminating presetting, offset, and touch-off of the replaced tool.
DuoJust-Cut features innovative insert clamping ensuring tool rigidity and stability in various parting operations. In addition to existing JXPG insert with a ground in chipbreaker on the rake face, the new JXPS insert incorporates a 3D chipbreaker pressed in to its "dual-rake" cutting edge which is designed to promote optimal chip control and evacuation without compromising surface integrity. n
By placing high-pressure coolant directly in the cutting zone, JETI technology ensures superior chip and temperature control. For further process optimization, holders equipped with Jetstream Tooling Duo feature a second coolant outlet from the clearance side that can be turned on or off depending on part-processing requirements.
To optimize part transfer, independent right spindle guideways on lower turrets minimize the distance between the spindles at 11.8" (300 mm). For highest processing flexibility, a single or twin lower turret design is offered with overlapping travels and Y-Axis box guideways are standard. For exceptionally quick and accurate turning of a variety of parts, turret index times are as low as .19 seconds, robot cycle times 17.9 seconds and loading times 4.8 seconds. An optimized bed design, with a grooving width of 14mm, renders this lathe exceptionally rigid.
The austenitic AISI 316L (A4) stainless steel receives its high resistance to chlorides and acids primarily from the chromium, nickel, and molybdenum constituents. This predestines the AISI 316L (A4) standard parts from Winco for use on ships and other offshore sites, in swimming pools with chlorinated or mineral-rich waters and, anywhere else that requires such thorough cleaning.
The EconoMaster drilling unit features low power and air consumption, adjustable motor housing, adjustable total stroke up to 4", hydraulic feed control cylinder, J33 taper spindle end, 0-1/2" drill chuck, electric front & rear position limit switches, belt tensioner and chrome-plated quill. The GD8 geometry has been specifically developed for grooving along the shoulders and grooving of large diameters without interference of the insert with the finished workpiece. The VG8 geometry has been developed for finishing operations behind a collar.
