The ANGLED ROUND TOOLHOLDERS position the insert at 30°, 45° or 60° angles for reliefs, undercuts and angled OD and face grooves. Round shank sizes are available in diameters of 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 20 mm and 25 mm. The ANGLED ROUND TOOLHOLDERS are for use with THINBIT® inserts in grades for ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

The mini version has all the proven centroteX technology, however with an additional advantage: Actuation takes place with just one screw; thus, you save even more set-up time, and this system was designed to enable a robot to quickly change the clamping device. With lesser tightening torque than is required with the large variant, the centroteX M, the centroteX S can be assembled more quickly and this is executed with the highest repeatability and at the same time it also offers more ergonomic operation.

Round smooth, round serrated, hex smooth, and square smooth sizes are available for W&S (all sizes), S-style (all sizes), Gisholt, Jones & Lamson, and Martin collet pad types, allowing more varied geometries can be securely gripped. The ability to quickly change between sizes allows shops to expand their machining capabilities, increase their machine cycles by up to 30%, and maximize production. Emergency collet pads that machine like top jaws are stocked for custom workpiece applications.

With an ultralow profile of 40 mm and extremely flat design, ZeroAct is ideal for any zero-point application especially those where the z-axis travel of the spindle is critical. The ZeroAct features rapid open and closing of the modules and simultaneous actuation with one simple twist of the wrist generating 15kN clamp force. Easily actuate workpieces onto a table or adapter with a low stack-up of 38.1 mm greatly increasing the z-axis travel.

The GYROFLEX offers the flexibility to meet a variety of production demands, from low production volume and parts prototyping to high-volume and high-mixed production. A single GYROFLEX requires reduced setup and changeover times and completes complex parts efficiently and accurately.

A key benefit of this vise is the simple solution it provides for integrating automated machine tending into your machine shop. Air Vise offers an electric kit that allows a cobot/robot the ability to open and close the vise by controlling the air flow. By controlling the vise the robot can place intricate and uniquely shaped parts at ease. The table vise is equipped with quick change jaws that allow jobs to be switched in a breeze. A job can be switched over in a matter of minutes by simply selecting the new jaws and mill program.n

The Lynx 2600SY is designed with a rigid bed structure and incorporates roller type LM guides for all axes. The maximum turning diameter is 14.9" and the maximum turning length is 24", and the main spindle incorporates a 10" chuck while the sub-spindle handles either a 6- or 8-inch chuck size. The main spindle has a speed of 3,500 r/min (25HP) while the sub-spindle turns at 4,500 r/min (15HP), making quick work of complex parts. The Y-axis travel is 4.13", and a 12 station servo-driven BMT tool turret with a half index feature (24 positions) is standard.

Northfield's engineering team has developed a brand-new chucking system that requires NO air tubes or hoses. This Pressure-Lok™ air chuck is charged with air by a special handle and holds air pressure for over 2 weeks. These chucks can be mounted to rotary tables with no thru-hole, tombstones, pallets, transfer systems, etc.

The Greenleaf Quick-Change Toolholders conform to ISO 26623, utilize standard components, and are designed to maximize tool life in carbide and ceramic turning applications.n

Each jaw of the MM e-motion is independently controlled and monitored by an individual electro-mechanical drive, which allows for many clamping functions including self-centering, compensating, and individual jaw movement all within one fully automated chuck.

With five axes of motion and storage for 40 tools, the machine can grind thread grooves and also machine the nut circumference, end surface, key grooves, and return tube holes in a single setup. In addition to producing large savings in manufacturing time, elimination of setup changeovers also assures exact phase alignment of thread grooves and return tube holes. A standard touch probe enables automatic pre-processing phase alignment of the thread groove and wheel.n

The Micro End Mills feature a patented neck design with up to 10x diameter, enabling reach into deep contours. For optimal machining performance, a high radial bending strength withstands alternating stress on the cutting edge and relieved neck. The new Emuge end mills offer High Speed Cutting finishing of 2D and 3D contours, and are offered in square, ball nose, and torus end types. Featuring a short, stable cutting geometry, the end mills are available in Solid Carbide and CBN designs.n
