The latest additions include inserts with 0.8 mm (.032″) nose radius in versatile AH725 grade. 0.8 mm nose radius will provide the cutting edge with strength, preventing edge fracture for predictable tool life. In addition, AH725 enhances the insert's wear resistance during machining of various materials, ensuring high precision and boosts productivity.

FH3125 is a new grade specifically developed to enhance the guide pad's wear resistance in machining various materials. The dedicated carbide substrate of the grade is designed to reduce guide pad breakage, providing long and predictable tool life in deep hole processes. The corners of both ends of the guide pad are designed to allow smooth entry into the guide bushing or pilot hole to control vibration impact and further decrease the risk of rupture.

The DP Technology teams are proud to announce the very first commercial version of ESPRIT that includes additive direct energy deposition (DED) cycles. ESPRIT's additive capabilities are the product of the team's more than 35 years of experience in toolpath generations, and they include the same intuitive user interface that users expect from the software. The product release includes 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis DED support. Combined with the subtractive processes and embedded into a single software, DP Technology brings a full spectrum of support to hybrid manufacturing.

Enhancements to the Page Manager have improved toolpath management. These include the ability to create named groups and functions for copying and modifying existing toolpaths, which speeds up the process of creating finish paths that use the same tool set-up as the rough paths.

BXA10 incorporates a crater-wear-resistant PcBN substrate and the latest multilayer PVD coating for edge toughness, enhancing the grade's wear and fracture resistance. The latest development will provide improved productivity, tool life, and surface integrity in continuous to light interrupted cuts at high cutting speeds of drive shafts, gears, and other case hardened or induction hardened steel parts common in automotive industries.

The improved frame rate of the ImageIR 5300 ensures that users can use this model to solve a wide range of tasks in industry and science. Their modular design consisting of an optics, detector and interface module makes it easy to adapt to a wide variety of measurement scenarios. The integrated process and trigger interface enables the infrared camera to be synchronized precisely with external processes for analyses – and in the case of the ImageIR® 5300, these processes can readily be connected at maximum speeds.

The exceptionally smooth yet hard coating improves surface quality, which, in turn, significantly reduces torque requirements. Intended for blind hole and through hole threads and thread depths up to 3.5 x DN in steel, it has also shown good results in machining cast iron and aluminum. The TC470 Supreme is offered in four variants: With or without lubrication grooves and/or internal coolant, as well as with radial or axial coolant outlet, optimized for long and short threads.

The LT360 is configurable and compact, consisting of a cutting head mounted on a 6-axis robot, and a working table with a work area of 1500 x 1000 mm. For increased productivity, a 20 kg capacity handling robot and part holding table can be integrated. Available with a 2 kW or 3 kW fiber laser source, the cutting head features capacitive height sensing, allowing maximum freedom for cutting any three-dimensional profile in space to truly cut at 360° with an accuracy of ±0.15 mm (.006") and a repeatability of ±0.05 mm (.002").

Using the combination of ESPRIT probing and CNC machines outfitted with touch probes, shops will enjoy increased throughput on existing equipment while reducing operator intervention. This benefit comes along with increases in part consistency and quality.

Ideal for CNC machining applications, the SJL provides the highest accuracy for thin-walled and deformation-sensitive workpieces. Unique to the SJL is the ability to be switched from a 2+2+2 lever equalizing chuck to classic 6-jaw self-centering chuck depending on application requirements.

CAD analysis benefits from a new function which improves the suite of analysis-shading modes. Draft Analysis has been added to the existing Undercut and Accessibility shading, performing an on-the-fly analysis of the draft angle. This uses the same technique as in the undercut mode, but extended to more ranges. The colors and angular value of each range can be changed by simply clicking on the colors or numeric labels on the graphics toolbar.
