G220 Turn-Mill Center
The G220 features a Z-axis slide with a motorized milling spindle and hydrodynamically mounted Y/B axis arranged above the axis of rotation. The powerful milling spindle is available with an HSK-T63 interface with specs of 12,000 rpm, 60.3 hp (49 kW) and 53.1 ft lbs (72 Nm) at 25% DC, or an HSK-T40 interface with specs of 18,000 rpm, 25.5 hp (19 kW) and 22.1 ft lbs (30 Nm) at 25% DC. This facilitates a wide range of milling and drilling operations, and the machine is also capable of full 5-axis machining.
SPN Zero-Point Clamping System
The SPN zero-point clamping system features a repeatability of 0.005 mm due to its sophisticated design. Thanks to its very high clamping forces and consistent use of tempered stainless steel, the system provides a high-precision, torsion-resistant base that also stabilises parts that have a tendency to vibrate. Zimmer's zero-point clamping system is able to absorb maximum forces with maximum repeatability.

The Unified Multiaxis toolpath brings together Morph, Parallel, Along Curve, and Project Curve strategies into a single interface, delivering expanded and highly flexible cutter path creation. The Unified toolpath allows access to these cut patterns when you add the appropriate curves. For example, to create a toolpath that morphs between two surfaces, select Unified from the Multiaxis toolpaths, and then set the Cut Pattern to two surfaces with the Morph style. The Unified toolpath allows for more flexibility in cut pattern when programming in Multiaxis.

Motorized kinematic mirror mounts provide a means to control the pitch and yaw axes of a mirror, usually to direct or deflect a laser beam. To achieve large angles up to 16 degrees while keeping the dimensions as small as possible, the N-480 series kinematic motorized optical mirror mounts are equipped with long travel, high resolution piezo motors.
