Manufacturing an industrial buffer to meet shop use demands was just what JET had in mind when it developed the new 8 in. industrial buffer. This 44 lb. benchtop buffer’s entire body is constructed of cast iron with a fully-enclosed industrial housing with factory-sealed, prelubricated ball-bearings for reliable, long life use.

In cooperation with Audi, Henkel has developed an auto body pretreatment process. The patented two-step process enables surface treatment of multi-metal auto bodies with an aluminum content of up to 100 percent.

With an improved, patent-pending design structure, Osborn’s TufBrush stringer bead is made from carbon steel material and provides twice the life and 15 percent better material removal than its closest competitor, according to the company.

Guyson’s Multiblast 3D is tailored for use with post-processing of 3D-printed parts. The Multiblast 3D has the ability to create a wide array of surface finishes for both cosmetic and/or functional purposes.

Weiler Abrasives Group announced the expansion of its resin fiber discs (RFDs) offering to include five new products for varying performance requirements: Tiger Ceramic, Zirc and Aluminum, and Wolverine Zirc and Aluminum Oxide. These discs are designed to provide an aggressive cut rate and a smooth finish on tool steel, aluminum and any material in between. The products are ideal for heavy stock removal, edge chamfering, weld blending, grinding, and surface preparation and finishing.

Osborn introduced the JacksonLea brand LeaSpray HP spray gun for use with all JacksonLea polishing compounds. Engineered for industrial liquid buffing compounds, the LeaSpray HP spray gun is similar to other powder coating and painting guns, but it has a versatile design that fits all types of control systems and applications, including hand, automatic and robotic applications.
