Entry-Level, Computer-Based, Force-Testing Products

The L.S. Starrett Company has introduced a comprehensive line of innovative, entry-level, computer-based, force-testing solutions for applications ranging from load limit and distance testing to break limit, time average, cyclic count and duration testing, constant hold and more. Optimized for production and quality control testing, the versatile, innovative architecture of the L1 system is designed for reliable, fast, repeatable and easy operation.

Virtual Calculator

Coordinate measuring machine OEM AIMS Metrology has introduced a virtual calculator designed to help manufacturers find out in “real time” just how much money they will save with a Renishaw REVO 2 5-axis scanning probe. The company designed its flagship CMM, the Revolution LM, around the REVO 2 which is equipped with an RVP vision probe. The RVP provides noncontact vision measurements on a 5-axis platform with infinite positioning.

LaserNet 200 Comprehensive Particle Analyzer Series

The new Version 7 of the LaserNet 200 comprehensive particle analyzer series from Spectro Scientific provides extensive analysis of particles in lubricating and hydraulic fluids. Compared to earlier releases, the new series increases particle counting range up to 10 million particles/ml without dilution, and includes a new set of ferrous particle measurements that gives users new insights into the progress of machine wear.

Electrical Gage Actuators

Marposs has enhanced its gauging solutions for grinding machines with new electrical gage actuators. As compared to former hydraulic and pneumatic solutions, this electro-mechanical system provides better control of the process, as well as significantly reducing maintenance time and costs.

Leica Absolute Scanner LAS-XL Ultralarge-Scale Portable Laser Scanner

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence announced the Leica Absolute Scanner LAS-XL, a new ultralarge-scale portable laser scanner. Designed for industries and applications where both speed of measurement and metrology-level accuracy are indispensable, the expanded measurement field and point acquisition rate of the LAS-XL means large parts and surfaces can be quickly and fully digitized.
