The latest memory card series offers capacities of up to 480 GB and a high-performance interface in accordance with 2-lane NVMe-1.3 and PCIe-Gen 3.1 specifications. It is aimed at a wide range of applications in the fields of industrial automation, gaming, transportation, and medical technology. The robust memory media combine the flexibility of Swissbit memory cards with the read-write performance of PCIe SSDs.

SURFCAM Traditional 2021

SURFCAM Traditional is designed to provide manufacturers with robust, flexible, and easy-to-use programming capabilities for 2-5-axis machining, in addition to turning and wire-EDM programming functions. NCSIMUL machining-simulation software can be used in conjunction with a wide range of CAM systems to verify and optimize toolpath, quickly switch NC programs between machine tools, and simulate machining operations.

SICK AppSpace

In the SICK AppSpace eco-system, programmable sensors and edge devices can be configured for new tasks using SensorApps. Many apps are already available for download via the SICK AppPool. For specific applications, SensorApps can also be used independently by the customer and developed together with SICK experts and the support of a developer community. Until now, basic programming skills were required to generate your own SensorApps in SICK AppStudio. That is no longer the case with the new AppPool.

Secure Boot Solution for Raspberry Pi

The Raspberry Pi’s low-cost and widely used hardware can contain valuable and protectable data and functions. Swissbit now offers an easy-to-implement safety system based on a long-lasting flash memory suitable for industrial applications. This way, hardware-based security functions can be implemented independently of the CPU and with high flexibility – even retrospectively. The PS-45u-DP-microSD card ‘Raspberry Edition’ encrypts the data and allows access only via a flexible configurable authentication function, which unlocks further access to the data carrier in the pre-boot phase. The number of permitted invalid access attempts can be configured.
