Cincinnati Inc. (CI) has named Alejandro Chavez regional sales engineer for all Canadian provinces except British Columbia, which is covered by the direct sales representative in Seattle. The appointment continues the company’s expansion of its direct sales and service teams.
"We hired Alejandro to bring CI closer to our Canadian customers," said CI International Sales Manager Troy Robinson. "We believe this will afford our customers better access to CI resources, and provide pre- and post-sales support at the level they expect."
Chavez is a 13-year veteran of manufacturing and holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Catolica Andres Bello University in Caracas, Venezuela. He also attended Niagara College, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, for post-graduate studies in international business management. Chavez holds a project management certificate from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, as well as project management professional and Six Sigma Green Belt Professional certifications.
CI provides manufacturers throughout North America with laser cutting, automation and metal fabrication equipment.
