TYKMA Electrox, Chillicothe, Ohio, a worldwide supplier of industrial laser systems, in February introduced a new brand identity following the year-old merger between TYKMA Technologies and Electrox Laser Marking Systems.

"Since the exciting merger announcement between TYKMA and Electrox 12 months ago, we’ve been steadily integrating the two organizations," said Aaron Grimes, global product line manager for TYKMA Electrox. "We are excited to announce our new branding, signifying one organization worldwide.

"Our customers will benefit from a larger portfolio of technology and products, enabling us to solve complex marking challenges," he continued. "Not only have our sales and customer support groups grown in the North American market, we’ve also increased our worldwide market presence to more than 25 countries. Our online presence has been consolidated to www.permanentmarking.com."

The company's 50.000-sq.-ft. corporate headquarters are now based out of its Chillicothe, Ohio, facility, which that was opened in July 2015.

The company's U.K. facility, located in Letchworth Garden City, England, has partnered with The Needham Group, Whitchurch, England, which reportedly will enable greater sales and support for the company's U.K. market.

"Our new branding is only the start to a future of extended growth and product development for TYKMA Electrox," Grimes concluded.
