Solar Manufacturing, Souderton, Penn., recently appointed John Oakes as the company's new sales representative for the Northeast U.S. region, according to a Feb. 17 news release. Oakes will focus on vacuum furnace sales in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Oakes owns the Edward A. Boll Co. Inc., a well-known and well-respected sales organization that has been supplying quality products to the thermal processing industry for more than 30 years.
"We have known John for some time, and I have always felt he would be a valuable addition to our sales team," said Pete Reh, vice president of sales for Solar Manufacturing. "When the opportunity arose, we were happy to discuss the real possibility of him joining our rep force.
