Solar Manufacturing appoints Northeast U.S. sales rep

John Oakes to focus on vacuum furnace sales for Solar ManufacturingSolar Manufacturing, Souderton, Penn., recently appointed John Oakes as the company's new sales representative for the Northeast U.S. region, according to a Feb. 17 news release. Oakes will focus on vacuum furnace sales in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Oakes owns the Edward A. Boll Co. Inc., a well-known and well-respected sales organization that has been supplying quality products to the thermal processing industry for more than 30 years. 

"We have known John for some time, and I have always felt he would be a valuable addition to our sales team," said Pete Reh, vice president of sales for Solar Manufacturing. "When the opportunity arose, we were happy to discuss the real possibility of him joining our rep force. Not only does John possess a long experience in our industry, but he is also a person of high character and integrity.
