Kitagawa NorthTech names senior manager

Kitagawa NorthTech, Inc., which offers standard chucks, custom engineered workholding and Steady Rests solutions, in April announced that Shaun Thomas joined the company as Senior Manager of Engineering & Manufacturing. In his position for the workholding company, Thomas will be instrumental in managing all design, engineering and manufacturing processes. 

Thomas joins Kitagawa NorthTech with more than 13 years of direct workholding industry experience. Prior to joining Kitagawa NorthTech, he spent more than a decade at workholding manufacturer, SMW Autoblok, serving in various manufacturing and engineering capacities, as well as estimating custom engineered projects. Thomas began his career as design engineer for the company. Upon earning his MBA, he was promoted to Engineering Supervisor at Autoblok.

On joining Kitagawa NorthTech, Thomas said: “Kitagawa has one of the most respected names in the workholding business with superior engineering, workmanship and quality. With their great legacy in Power chucks combined with their new innovative family of automation products, custom engineered workholding solutions and steady rests, I look forward to being an integral part of the company’s future.”
