Coldwater Machine Co., Coldwater, Ohio, an engineered solutions and precision machining company that manufactures and integrates assembly automation and special machines, announced a 27,500-sq.-ft. expansion to its manufacturing space, enlarging the facility to 132,500 sq. ft. This will double the company's build area with the addition of three bays, each at 60' by 150', dedicated to the assembly of automated solutions.

Coldwater Machine's climate-controlled facility features over 45 machine tools and overhead crane systems up to 25 tons. There is also an on-site solid-state joining center dedicated to the development of technologies that address the joining of lightweight and dissimilar materials. Additionally, Coldwater Machine has inspection and test equipment to support internal machining needs, as well as customers' build-to-print activity for precision parts.

Coldwater Machine moved to its current facility in 1999, which was a greenfield site comprising 78,500 sq. ft. on 19 acres. In 2013, 27,000 sq. ft. was added to support growing customer demand for turnkey automated systems. The current expansion is anticipated to be completed by November.
