The ramifications from the coronavirus seem likely to loom for the coming weeks or months as the pandemic widens its grip around the world. Rather than bemoan the shelter-in-place orders designed to keep us safe, we at Cutting Tool Engineering are committed to overcoming the obstacles and limitations we now face.
Even as we adapt to this unwelcome reality, Cutting Tool Engineering will meet every deadline, publish every issue of the magazine and continue to connect with our audience on a daily basis via our website and social media channels.
What's more, we think it is our duty to help our audience survive the coming months. Toward that end, Cutting Tool Engineering wants to hear about how you and your business are grappling with the pandemic—successfully or otherwise. By sharing your collective stories through our magazine, website and social media channels, we at Cutting Tool Engineering hope to shorten the learning curve for everyone as we navigate the coming weeks and months. And, yes, possibly even longer.
While certainly not limited to the following, here are a few things we'd like to learn from you:
- How is the pandemic impacting your business?
- Whether your business is staying open?
- How your business is handling supply demands in this age of social distancing?
- Are you working from home?
- Is there any other information about the pandemic’s impact on our industry that you think Cutting Tool Engineering should address?
Again, these are just a few questions to get you thinking. If you're willing to share a story with us, please jot down your thoughts and share them with us via email or comment on this post through our Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Stories emailed to me will be shared in part or in whole in an upcoming issue of Cutting Tool Engineering and/or through our website.
