The T.J. Davies Company Inc. has been selected to participate in a national program that provides women business leaders with practical, real-world tools to improve the operational value of a business.

Company owner and CEO Sherry Davies will join the upcoming Winter 2024 Virtual Cohort of the WeIGNITE Program organized by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and sponsored by Wells Fargo.

“I’m honored to be chosen and am looking forward to it,” said Davies. She was also recently awarded a UPS Ignite Grant in partnership with UPS and the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, an unrelated honor.

These awards reflect Davies’ commitment to build upon her father’s legacy and highlight her success as a woman business owner in a male-dominated industry.

WBENC has partnered with EOS Worldwide Professional and Certified EOS Implementers to create the WeIGNITE program with the purpose of helping women business entrepreneurs grow by teaching them to implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System, or EOS.

The EOS provides teams with tools and principles to run businesses more smoothly and profitably. Along with the virtual blended-learning program, participants receive the book that describes the system, “Traction: Get a Grip on Your Business,” by Gino Wickman.

To be considered for the WeIGNITE Program, businesses must be majority woman-owned, demonstrate leadership maturity, and be committed to further building organizational processes. The company said that Davies is a progressive leader who manages with curiosity and a growth-oriented mindset.

“Our people are our greatest strength,” she said. “We want them to feel empowered to make a difference, inspired to bring innovation to our products.”  Davies will attend the WeIGNITE Program weekly for five weeks in early 2024.

T.J. Davies Company specializes in the manufacturing of retention knobs (pull studs) for direct sale and distribution. They are a veteran-founded, woman-led business dedicated to high-quality, American-made products that help customers compete in the global marketplace.
