Travers Tool Company, which has corporate headquarters in Flushing, New York, and distribution centers in South Carolina and California, is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year.

1924 has blossomed into a multi-location distribution business providing top-quality metalworking tools to industries and shops nationwide."

Founded in New York in 1924 by David Trevas, Travers Tool Company has been committed to quality, value, and availability. Through World War II and the 1950s, Travers grew into a trusted metalworking supplier for the Northeast region in the USA.

The sixties saw Barry Zolot introduce the inaugural catalog, expanding the company's reach nationwide. Throughout the seventies and beyond, Travers Tool broadened its product line and embraced global sourcing. The eighties and nineties brought state-of-the-art warehouses and international branches, enhancing service and innovation.

Since the turn of the century, the company has expanded its service and product offerings, ensuring machinists always find the right tool.
