Methods Machine Tools names director of dealer development

Methods Machine Tools, Inc. North America’s foremost supplier of leading-edge precision machine tools and automation solutions, welcomes Tim Leoni as the director of dealer development.

Mr. Leoni, most recently a Business Unit Manager for Select Machining Technologies, is a 30+ year veteran of the machine tool industry. He assumes go-to-market leadership of Methods’ dealer network which covers broad sections of the U.S. Upper and Lower Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, Canada, and Mexico.

“Tim has a proven track record of success in maximizing distributor partnerships, while driving innovation and growing and transforming within industry segments,” said David Chesnutt, Methods’ SVP of National Sales. “Our dealer-partners are critical to our long-term growth. Tim will deepen those relationships and strengthen our operational rigor to the benefit of our customers throughout North America.”

Prior to his tenure at Select, Leoni held an executive sales position at the Morris Group, which was preceded by more than 27 years in progressive sales roles at JTEKT Toyoda America.

The Methods’ Dealer Network currently covers 13 U.S. states in partnership with Maruka USA, OptiPro Systems, MTA Company, and Meredith Machinery; In Canada with Elliott Matsuura, Machinery Masters, and Edge Production; In Mexico with MTE Global Solutions and Unicornio.
