CLEVELAND, OH – The Women in Manufacturing® Education Foundation (WiMEF) and SME are collaborating to host a virtual career fair on February 6, 2025. Now in its fifth year, the event aims to connect job seekers with manufacturers that prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in their workplaces.

The virtual platform, supportedVirtual Career Fair by SME, allows employers to create customized booths, conduct one-on-one interviews, and access resumes from qualified candidates across various manufacturing sectors. Participants are expected to include recent graduates, early-career professionals, seasoned managers, and skilled tradespeople.

“We’re pleased to continue our partnership with SME to bring this valuable opportunity to women and other job seekers in the manufacturing industry,” said Gretchen Moore, executive director of WiMEF. “This career fair is a step toward fostering greater diversity and innovation in manufacturing.”

The WiMEF, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering women in manufacturing, connects professionals with career development resources and networking opportunities. SME, which promotes manufacturing technology and workforce development, is a key partner in this initiative.

The career fair is open to all job seekers, with free registration available online. For more information, visit the event webpage.
