The patented spindle technology ensures continuous high precision. By its design, the cutting tool shank serves as the spindle shaft. As the result, the dynamic run-out is 4 microns or better. Bearings can easily be replaced by the customer with each cutting tool change.

Sandvik Coromant's new turning grades are optimized with these machining challenges in mind. The introduction assortment of the S205 includes 36 items, with more to be added in spring of 2021. The Ceramic CC6165 grade is also available in a range of assortments to meet the demands of varied industries and materials.

R-Palletize is a configurable palletizing station which allows low-volume, high-mix manufacturers to use a single robotic cell for palletizing a variety of product patterns. R-Palletize is available in four hardware configurations which include a FANUC America M710iC/50H robot to handle cases up to 40 pounds, a Rockwell Automation control system, and optional end-of-arm-tooling (EOAT) to suit the application.

The CNC video measurement system "NEXIV" can automatically measure the dimensions of component features using Nikon's world renowned optical and image processing technology. By analyzing the captured image of a component, detecting feature edges at high speed, both accurately and with repeatably, it is possible to quickly measure components with simple and complex features.

Made of hardened steel, it is extremely robust and resistant to all external mechanical influences. It can be used on serrated tool bodies and Alu-Line slide tools in the diameter range from 3.937" – 128.15" (100 mm – 3255 mm). Additionally, this precision boring tool can be adjusted without the aid of the readout.

The new DB133 drills, with their 140° point geometry, are available in diameter range from 1/32-5/64 in. and 0.5 to 2.95 mm. Length to diameter ratios (L/D) of 5, 8 and 12 x Dc are standard.

The Flex drills are available in steps of one hundredth millimeter for drilling depths of 50 x D, as well as the "shorter" lengths of 20 x D and 30 x D.

Walter's T2710 indexable thread milling cutter can be used universally in steels, stainless steels, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and hardened steels up to 55 HRC. It machines threads with nominal diameter from 0.79 in. (20 mm), and pitch range of 1.5 - 6 mm/18-6 TPI up to 1.5 x Dn thread depth.

New opportunities are expected with the new investment in the company.

The "lightest" machine in the FZP line is the new FZP32 with a working range of up to X = 10, Y = 4 and Z = 2.5 meters (393" x 157" x 98"). The user can machine block materials, plastics, as well as CFRP, GFRP and aluminum, among other materials.

At the 2021 Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS) scheduled for Aug. 10 to 12 in Cleveland, Mazak will highlight some of its latest high-output, cost-effective and space-saving machine tool technology.

The ToolConnect barcode application uses a barcode scanner at the machine tool to scan the presetter generated barcode. ToolConnect reads and processes the barcode data, displays all tool and process information and then automatically updates the offsets to the correct fields in the control. No operator data entry is required.
