All Profilator machines are designed for dry machining. This brings several advantages such as: an optimized machining area, no coolant and no coolant mist. The inverted, vertical spindle(s) allow free chip fall into the central chip conveyor at the bottom, while no coolant means no washing of the workpiece is required and the lack of coolant mist signifies an extraction system isn't needed.

CAM Assist uses advanced computational optimisation and AI inference techniques to rapidly determine a professional strategy and toolset needed to manufacture a part, along with the most appropriate cutting speeds and feeds from the user's library.

These inserts have 4 types of cutting geometries for machining different materials under diverse cutting conditions: T - Steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, cast iron and hardened steel. HP - Austenitic stainless steel and high temperature alloys. RM-T - Interrupted cut for machining near straight wall shoulders of steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened steel.

The double-sided CXMG inserts operate similarly to CCMT positive inserts and can therefore replace standard CCMT inserts. In some applications, they can also replace standard negative CNMG inserts.nDouble-sided with a positive flank. Low cutting forces. Designed with a chipformer for general turning applications.

Unique to Nikken rotary tables is the innovative and patented carbide worm system comprised of a carbide worm screw, ion nitrided worm wheel (HV930), and hardened steel bearing surface (HRC58-60). The V grade solid carbide worm screw helps to ensure high rigidity and virtually eliminates wear.

Both WKP01G and WPP05G grades are ideal for continuous cutting and occasional interrupted cuts in high tensile materials (approx. 280-410 HB or 130-200 ksi). Ideal applications include large-scale production of components for the automotive and energy industries, such as gearboxes, gears and rotor hubs, as well as forged shafts for general mechanical engineering and wheel sets for the rail industry.
