The tangential design of the FIX8 insert features a rigid clamping system that pulls the insert securely into the pocket seat, offering superior stability that enables the insert to withstand large cutting forces and vibrations for optimal performance. The insert is also supported by a replaceable carbide shim, protecting the pocket against deformation and damage.

The LR-10iA/10 has a 10 kg payload and a large work envelope with a long reach of 1101 mm. Its compact size makes it an ideal solution for companies with limited floor space, and the slim arm fits into machine tools to load and unload parts. 20 inserts in HP-style chipbreaker are now available in WavyJoint style; namely, 4QS-CNGG1204..-HP, 4QS-DNGG1504..-HP, 6QS-TNGG1604..-HP, and 4QS-VNGG1604..-HP inserts. Conventionally, CBN cutting tips are brazed onto the seats ground, usually on one side, on a cemented carbide insert body to form a CBN insert. The WavyJoint technology further enhances the bond of CBN cutting tips on negative inserts with 160% increased brazing surface between the CBN tip and carbide insert body. Also, the technology uses 200% larger volume CBN tips for improved insert reliability and tool life. In addition, CNGG1204..-HP inserts are also available in wiper geometry, increasing surface finishing quality.

Fastems FPT is compatible with any machine tool brand, and it integrates with milling machines whether or not they have automatic pallet changers. In addition, the system footprint is extremely compact: FPT-500 for 300-500mm pallets requires only 100 square feet, and FPT-1000 for 500-630mm pallets requires 175 square feet. Instead of having a fixed storage, like most of the comparable units, FPT can work with different load heights and pallet sizes with a configurable pallet storage that can store up to 24 pallets in two to four levels.

CoroCut QI is divided into internal grooving and face grooving application areas, and is an upgrade of the T-max Q-Cut® 151.3 program. The improved design allows for greater chip control, a 10% productivity increase, 20% improved tool life aided by tighter edge-rounding tolerances and internal coolant for both internal and face grooving tools.

Designed as a machine for 5-face machining applications, the MCR-BV is also capable of 5-axis contouring as well as 5-sided heavy milling applications. These heavy-duty applications are made possible through features such as a powerful integral motor and spindle, an expanded work envelope, and a very rigid table which is 30% thicker than previous models, all of which is ideal for large-part machining. An abundant range of attachment heads are compatible with the machine, allowing for a wide range of unique part shapes to be created, as well as many multitasking machining functions to be performed.

Ramping down, the cutter first bottom-cuts the surface with the leading insert, then further cuts the same surface with its trailing insert. DoFeedTri inserts are designed with a long "inner" cutting edge that can bottom-cut more material than conventional milling inserts when trailing the leading insert during ramp down operations. This makes DoFeedTri a perfect tool for productive ramp down operations.
