Seco's newest indexable milling technology, the Double Turbo 11 milling insert, is designed for smaller machines and shallow cuts. The Double Turbo 11 is a square shoulder solution for face, side, and slot milling, the company says. Its design features double-sided inserts with four cutting edges, delivering cost-effective performance and extended tool life.

ISCAR is introducing a new PVD-coated carbide grade that is intended for indexable milling cast iron (ISO K group of application). The grade, designated as IC1011, is designed for machining cast iron (ISCAR material groups 15-20), primarily nodular cast iron (ISCAR material groups 17-18), in demanding conditions such as heavy-duty applications, unstable cutting, and other challenging scenarios.

Shipments of cutting tools, measured by the Cutting Tool Market Report, a collaboration between AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology and the U.S. Cutting Tool Institute (USCTI), totaled $206.1 million in November 2025. Orders decreased 17.6% from October 2025 but were up 9.9% from November 2024.
