This machining center series can be flexibly configured to completely machine larger-sized structural parts which require maximum surface quality and dimensional accuracy, as well as high production rates and minimal downtime.

The Mikron MILL E 500 U's powerful 20,000-rpm Step-Tec spindle tackles both rough milling and drilling operations and increases metal removal rates by 20 percent over previous models. Its rigid, stable C-frame cast iron construction reduces vibrations for increased precision and repeatability, while large guideways, a double side-supported rotary table and optimized chip evacuation enhance reliability and part quality.

The gear head machine a highly precise, powerful and versatile option. It is ideal for milling, drilling, slotting, engraving, boring, tapping and angle machining operations. The all-gear drive transmission delivers full power at any speed. A high-performance brushless DC motor with permanent current control is standard.

Featuring a patented process developed by Starrett called bi-metal unique technology, that provides 170% more weld contact with the teeth, Intenss blades exhibit superior resistance to tooth strippage, significantly reducing fracture and breakage, which enables exceptionally long blade life. Performance is further enhanced by M-42 teeth with a multi-edge tooth design that produces split chips for faster cutting.

The machine places 128 spindles precisely and very close to center. A unique gearless drive is key to making it happen, not only getting each spindle as close as possible, but ensuring rigid performance to avoid backlash. The result is high-quality threads with no lag or out of tolerance thread forms due to gear train play that can occur using a geared head.

The 18-Inch Gear Head Bench Drill Press all-gear head driven transmission delivers full power at any speed, driving the cutting tools at nearly 100% of the available horsepower. To ensure positive, quiet operation, the bench drill uses combined steel and reinforced fibers. The ground steel clutches enhance its performance and strength.

Far surpassing the industry standard of 1%, the BigRep SHIELD maintains 0.1% humidity by looping air through a controlled desiccant chamber without the use of heat, therefore avoiding the risk of over-drying filaments from long-term heat exposure.

The core of the machine is the 40° inclined bed. Designed as an extremely rigid and compact welded steel construction, it is the basis for a robust and precise lathe. Reinforcements provide additional rigidity in zones exposed to higher stress. As a further development of the MAXXTURN 65 G1, the machine impresses with its modern and innovative design.

An in-house Tormach professional will install, align, and test all pre-installed components (if partial assembly is chosen) and major systems to the machines for full assembly. This allows customers to speed up the time to commission their new machines quickly at their shop once they arrive.

The GrindSmart 630XW 6-axis tool grinding machine and ShapeSmart NP50 5-axis pinch/peel cylindrical grinding machine are suitable for use in the following fields: manufacturing parts for the weapons industry, rifle chamber manufacturing and reconditioning, cold forging in radial forging machines, and punches for ammunition tooling manufacturing.

The "lightest" machine in the FZP line is the new FZP32 with a working range of up to X = 10, Y = 4 and Z = 2.5 meters (393" x 157" x 98"). The user can machine block materials, plastics, as well as CFRP, GFRP and aluminum, among other materials.
