The M5004 octagon milling cutter combines efficiency and process reliability while also extending tool life, resulting in maximum productivity. Process reliability is enhanced thanks to the new tool's high stability. Lower tool costs and reduced time and labor result from its universal usability and no need for additional finishing operations.

The MFH-MAX provides a new alternative to conventional 90° end mills when roughing to medium-finishing. The MFH-MAX also provides more capabilities than conventional high-feed mills by reducing the number of tool paths and machining time when cutting workpieces with large variations in machining margins.

Not only does this solution make it easier to machine sticky materials, but it is designed for easy, ergonomic indexing and the pocket and screw designs simplify positioning. The cutters themselves feature a new environmentally friendly coating and their outstanding high feed milling performance reduces the amount of power used in roughing.

In addition to standard VBO and VBN barrel-shaped end mills for productive finish machining of curved surfaces, TungMeister's new VBL lens-shape milling head has a convexly shaped cutting edge on the tool's tip, instead of on the periphery, providing a good solution for machining a complex bottom surface.

The Xtra·Tec XT M5468 provides protection against twisting and cutting-edge rotation due to the eight facets on its indexable inserts. It also yields maximum productivity thanks to its ability to support optimum cutting data and promote long tool life, as well as maximum process stability due to the indexing of the indexable inserts using facets.

AddDoFeed uses minimal Size 02 inserts of 4 mm (5/32″) inscribed circle and offers close pitch cutter bodies that boast unrivaled insert-per-diameter density for a small diameter indexable cutter. This allows a 16 mm (5/8″) diameter body to carry four inserts and 25 mm (1″) seven inserts for higher feed rates and increased productivity.

TungForce-Rec is a high-density shoulder milling cutter series with a secure insert clamping system that boasts excellent process security. Carrying all the advantages of the existing size 06 V-bottom inserts, the new size 12 inserts offer an extended cutting edge length that is twice as long as the size 06.

The WHH15X grade features HIPIMS technology for excellent coating adhesion and a high degree of hardness, and AlTiN coating optimized for hard machining; this results in an extremely smooth surface for the best chip removal and high surface quality.

Key features include four insert sizes, grades for all materials, three different cutting-edge preparation options, super strong radius high feed insert geometry, fine and coarse pitch cutters. The 4mm, 6mm, 9mm and 11mm inserts offer depth of cut ranges of .5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm and 2mm, respectively.

With 3D printing, there is about a 30% reduction in tool weight, yet it has the equivalent torsional stiffness of a steel ground body tool. Lightweighting can play a big role in large, heavy tools that take a toll on the machine spindle, helping to reduce preventative maintenance.

Walter's T2710 indexable thread milling cutter can be used universally in steels, stainless steels, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and hardened steels up to 55 HRC. It machines threads with nominal diameter from 0.79 in. (20 mm), and pitch range of 1.5 - 6 mm/18-6 TPI up to 1.5 x Dn thread depth.

The MC377 Advance, with protective chamfer, corner radii, and center cutting edge, can be used for chrome-nickel and steel materials, as well as titanium. The MD377 Supreme is a solid carbide milling cutter with a corner radius and central internal coolant engineered for titanium machining.
