With the new feature for creating generic revolved tools, operators can customize the shape of the cutting and non-cutting parts of the tool for all triangle mesh-based roughing strategies. Customized tools avoid over-simplifications because they take specific features of the tool shape into account during the toolpath calculation to deliver a realistic simulation of the material removal process.

While the previous FormControl version (without the "X") was based on a scenario in which a machine operator works at a machine with the laptop and processes the measurements at the same time, the trend today is moving toward automating such processes, meaning this 1:1 relationship is now fairly rare. Genuine automation of workpiece measurement also opens up completely new areas of application. That is why the goal with FormControl X was to enable real measurement automation on the basis of a modern client-server architecture – this means moving away from pure logging and towards process integration and automation with the help of the measurement data collected by the software.n

FlexiumPro's Real-Time Kernel (RTK) hosts an embedded Codesys V3 PLC and a CNC unit. Based on a multi-core ARM processor, the RTK is implemented using advanced system-on-chip (SoC) technology. ProShop SAFE is a managed encrypted file store (end to end, and at rest) that securely and seamlessly translates into the browser experience. User-definable File Access Security Groups (FASG) within the User Module of ProShop enable security administrators to define permissions of all folders and files within the file store, and provide read/write/execute, or forbid access, to any configuration of approved folders, subfolders, and files.

D:PLOY demonstrates how the entire application, including any leading cobot or light industrial robot arm along with tooling, sensors, and other devices, is accessed and managed from D:PLOY's dashboard. Users simply define the robot's workspace with minimal inputs on points within the workspace, and enter attributes of the workpiece. D:PLOY automatically generates all the program logic, signal exchange, event handling, path planning, and real-time monitoring for the full application.

The PCBA was developed to allow ACU-RITE controls users to define and order a TNC 320 for small machine tool applications (i.e., VMC with tool changer) as a simple upgrade. This new system includes the PCBA adapter, a TNC 320 control and a complete AC package (motors, drives and electrical cabinet).
