The u-tec patented changing system allows a standard ER output live tool to accept various adapters for different applications. The down-thrust clamp GN 9192 made from case-hardened steel can be fastened to a machine table with T-slots or to a fixture plate. The clamping arm can then be swiveled by hand and positioned over the inserted workpiece in any position. Turning and tightening the clamping screw or the adjustable hand lever lowers the clamping arm to hold the workpiece in place. After release, workpieces can be removed again from above just as quickly and easily once the clamping arm has been swiveled to the side – even when space is tight.

For simple, easy-to-use, versatile tool holding, the three versions of Seco Hydraulic Chucks include the HC Conventional, HCR Reinforced and the HCS Slim. The HC Conventional version delivers precision holding for drilling, reaming and light milling. The S100 can be configured to meet each customer's individual needs. It can be equipped with up to two internal grinding spindles, or one internal and one external spindle. In addition to a fixed wheelhead, it can be supplied with a manual wheelhead and a 2.5 degree Hirth coupling. The optimal combination consists of an automatic wheelhead with a 1 degree Hirth. A synchronous motor drives the grease-lubricated internal and external belt spindles. The machine is operated by the FANUC 0i-TF PLUS controller, together with the proven STUDER operating system.
