The multifunctional turning-boring-milling center is designed for complete machining of complex chuck and shaft parts up to 670 mm swing over bed. Turning, milling, drilling, hobbing, shaping, gun drilling as well as ID machining can be performed under any angle of the tool. The interpolation of up to 5 axes makes machining of any geometrical profile possible.

Users can machine this collet attachment to adapt it to match the internal contour of the workpiece they are clamping. However, what makes this new exhibit from AMF so special is that no through holes are needed in the workpiece to achieve safe internal clamping.

An advanced touchscreen HMI enables automatic, partial changeovers in 15 seconds or less, and one minute or less for complete changeovers. Additionally, the user-friendly HMI uses QR codes for easy servicing, forecasting tools and a 500-part setup library. The bar feeder's newly designed main cover lifts upward for easier access.

The LC xx6 series offers the same mounting profile as its LC 1x5 / LC 4x5 encoders, though the newest LC 116 and LC 416 offer a different internal optimized scanning system which makes them easier to deploy. This scanning design utilizes true optimized optics, which ensures clear imaging even with contamination and condensation.

The design makes them the ideal solution for machining simple to complicated jobs. In addition, their unique round design allows for five-sided access to workpieces. The vises occupy less space and reduce the amount of vise interference.
