Caster CAD 3D App for Android Devices

Caster and wheel manufacturer Colson Group USA has optimized its Caster CAD 3D application for Android devices. It was formerly only available on Apple devices.

Developed to streamline engineers’ design needs and procurement processes, the free app allows users to explore Colson Group’s interactive and comprehensive 3D caster catalogs. Users can research product models from Colson Group’s eight brands, each with a unique industry focus and expertise, and can then configure part numbers and email CAD models and datasheets to themselves or their clients.

The Android app features the same great functionality, allowing for fast delivery of caster content, including 2D/3D CAD models and our very popular interactive 3D PDF datasheets. This content saves our customers time by allowing them to quickly deliver and integrate our models into their designs, while also putting the pertinent product specifications at their fingertips.”

Colson’s Caster CAD 3D functions include:

  • Free, downloadable 2D or 3D CAD models available in a user’s native CAD format.
  • Easily configurable and interactive models.
  • Interactive 3D PDF datasheets and 2D drawings.
  • Model visualization on physical products using World-View.
  • Models, visualizations and data sheets can be quickly shared.

The 3D CAD models are compliant with major world standards and are suitable for use in current CAD systems.
