KeyView CAD Viewer

K2D-KeyToData GmbH informs about new features of KeyView, the CAD viewer, to identify design changes between several datasets of any CAD file format in a fast, reliable and exact way.

During design and manufacturing processes various departments in a company receive several new revisions of CAD models that must be compared with each other or with an original data file. With the new model comparing functions in KeyView this can be done in a fast and easy way.

All major CAD file formats can be opened for visual comparison of parts. The model compare function does also work with different file formats. During the comparison of two CAD models missing, added, removed or modified parts and sections can be detected. Distances, also between parts, can be measured, positions located, dimensions and notes can be inserted. Reports containing comparison graphics can be created for documentation and exported to 2D-PDF, 3D-PDF or image files (jpg, gif, bmp or tif) including all notes and dimensions.
