This Abanaki Corp. video demonstrates how the company’s Oil Boss oil skimmer provides cost savings by removing unwanted tramp oil and prolonging the life of the coolant.
As one of two CTE video supplements to the "Foil Tramp Oil" cover story in the February 2022 issue of Cutting Tool Engineering magazine, the Abanaki Corp. provided a 10-minute presentation titled, "How to Successfully Implement Oil Skimmers." 
The video will show how Abanaki’s Oil Boss oil skimmer provides cost savings by removing unwanted tramp oil prolonging the life of the coolant. The patent-pending Oil Boss is designed for CNC machines offering passive tramp oil removal.
The SS mighty mini is ideal for removing oil from machining centers and parts washers. The portable unit can service multiple parts washers and coolant sumps, avoiding the expense of multiple units. The belt picks up the oil, which is then scraped from both sides by dual wiper blades at a rate of up to 2 gph (7.6 lph).
