PFERD has announced that the Bosch X-Lock quick-change system for angle grinders is now available for a wide variety of PFERD cut-off wheels, flap discs, grinding wheels and brushes. This time and labor-saving system let users change applicable X-Lock products quickly and comfortably.
Weldcote offers its line of ALU-PRIME premium flap discs for applications on aluminum, other nonferrous metals and blending stainless steel. Offering a high value-to-price performance, Weldcote’s ALU-PRIME flap disc design allows the discs to work longer and more effectively before needing to be changed out.
U.S.-made, premium trimmable flap discs are now available from Weldcote, a division of Zika Group. The ability to trim the back plate on flap discs allows operators to use the discs for a longer period of time, increasing disc life by up to 65%.
Weldcote introduces its line of Z-PRIME and Z-SOLID zirconia flap discs. Designed for applications on carbon-based steels and stainless steel, Weldcote’s Z-PRIME premium flap discs are manufactured of high-quality zirconia grain that provides fast metal removal. The zirconia technology incorporates an active grinding agent that provides cool cutting with light pressure.
PFERD has introduced the POLIVLIES ceramic oxide CO-COOL flap disc, the newest addition to its popular line of POLIVLIES nonwoven products. Premium CO-COOL abrasive material provides consistently high grinding performance, with special top-sizing for reduced loading and cooler grinding on poor heat-conducting materials.
Weldcote Metals, a division of Zika Group, introduced its line of C-PRIME and C-PRIME PLUS ceramic flap discs. Weldcote’s C-PRIME flap discs feature strong polyester backing for aggressive grinding applications that do not require excessive flexibility.
Weiler Abrasives has expanded its offering of small-diameter cutting and snagging wheels for high-speed die grinders to include Tiger AO, Tiger Zirc and Tiger Ceramic. These 2- to 4-inch diameter wheels are designed for long life and fast cutting and join the Wolverine value wheels already offered in this category.
