drylin E Linear Robot

Because products need to be manufactured quickly and cost-effectively, the pressure to automate production processes is greater than ever. To meet these growing requirements, igus has developed a new, compact linear robot that is shipped from stock as early as same-day and offered at a low price of $2,165. The self-lubricating and maintenance-free drylin E linear robot is suitable for a range of applications, from pick and place technology to medical devices with strict safety requirements.

Stingray Low-Profile Modular Belt Conveyor

ABCO Automation Inc. announces the availability of Stingray, a robust, low-profile modular belt conveyor that employs micropitch plastic belts. Just as its name suggests, Stingray is powerful, yet gentle. This heavy-duty stainless-steel conveyor provides reliable product transfer, smooth transitions and product accumulation, making it suitable for delicate, small footprint or unstable products that may be damaged by a conventional conveyor.

SC2818 Stepper Motor

With the SC2818, Nanotec presents a stepper motor with a flange size of 28 mm and a torque of up to 0.22 Nm. The SC2818 thereby boasts in excess of 30 percent more torque than conventional motors of the same size. The step angle of the 2-phase hybrid stepper motor is 1.8°.

EL922x EtherCAT Terminal Series

Beckhoff announced the new EL922x EtherCAT Terminal series, which directly integrates electronic overcurrent protection to safeguard 24 V DC system components in the EtherCAT I/O system. In comparison with currently available protection devices, costs and space requirements in control cabinets can be reduced without having to use conventional, inflexible stand-alone systems.

SCARA Robots

FANUC’s new SCARA robots feature high-speed, precise operation for pick and place, assembly, testing/inspection and packaging processes in a wide range of industries including consumer electronics, auto component, plastics, food and beverage, lab automation, appliances and medical device manufacturing. A compact, lightweight design provides significant space savings.

drylin ZLW eco Belt Drive Axes

Mechanical engineers often need a basic, space-saving linear guide when designing technology that performs simple tasks, such as vending machines. Since such technology does not handle high loads, high speeds or high positioning accuracy, intricate linear guides are not necessary. However, most solutions on the market are advanced, leaving manufacturers forced to either pay for features they do not need or develop their own linear guide.
