To meet the demand in more motion control applications, HEIDENHAIN has again expanded its rotary encoder product line with either EnDat or SSI optical absolute encoders to include additional TTL and HTL signals. The new ROQ/EQN 425 rotary encoder is available with a solid shaft or hollow shaft with a mounted stator coupling.

All motors normally need two separate cables: one for the motor speed encoder and the other for the motor power supply. With the Hybrid Motor Cable Project called HMC 6, HEIDENHAIN has integrated the encoder lines into the power cable so now only one cable is needed between a synchronous motor and electrical cabinet.

Expanding its offerings of synchronous motors, HEIDENHAIN Corp. introduces the new QSY 260B and QSY 260C EcoDyn series of servomotors with stall torque of 85.0 Nm and 120.0 Nm, respectively.
