B3220 Boring Cartridge
Walter has broadened its line of boring tools with the introduction of the B3220 boring cartridge for axial-radial offset roughing (ARS), expanding on previous methods that were either symmetrical or asymmetrical. This versatile new tool, designed for use with the Walter B3220 but which can be used with the Walter B3221 and B3224 boring tools as well, brings the capabilities of axial-radial offset roughing (ARS) to an array of new applications.

ActiveEdge Boring Tool

Rigibore’s ActiveEdge is an automatically adjustable boring tool, allowing a close tolerance bore diameter to be maintained without the need for an operator’s intervention. This innovative system allows micron-accurate adjustments to be made on up to five individually adjustable cutting edges on the boring tool.

In 2008, Heinz Kaiser AG celebrated its 60th anniversary, a year that also marked a change in the ownership of the company. On Jan. 1, 2008, Chris Kaiser, Karlheinz Kaiser and Gabriela Brasher-Kaiser assumed ownership of the company from their father, Heinz Kaiser, who founded Kaiser AG in 1948.
