Endmills

MK Tools' Solid-Carbide Round Tools

MK Tools’ solid-carbide round tools from Monaghan Tooling Group introduces new “Speed-Drill R4” geometry, reportedly offering unparalleled cutting speeds and unprecedented tool life in gray cast iron, ductile iron and forged steel—all popular materials in automotive engine and chassis components. With a new corner radius design, which is tangential to the drill point but nontangential to the diameter, these proven designs address challenging, high-production drilling applications.

SN 200R/400R/500R Endmills

Niagara Cutter has expanded its range of endmills for high-feed milling applications. The new Niagara SN
200R/400R/500R solid-carbide endmills with 2-, 4- and 5-flute options allow parts manufacturers to achieve maximum productivity when performing face, slot and select plunge milling operations. Niagara applied the latest design and grinding developments to the SN 200R/400R/500R endmills, which feature a defined radius (rp) that helps direct radial cutting pressure axially up into the tool holder and spindle.

EIV5 Series Endmills

The EIV5 series from Millstar is revitalizing conventional practices for machine shops. With its combination of radial grind, variable helix, variable pitch and radius preparation, the EIV5 is a versatile endmill engineered for diverse machining applications.

FM Series Tools

RobbJack’s FM series with chatter-reduction geometry, tackles deep pockets, thin walls and other severe aluminum applications. These high-performance tools reduce or eliminate chatter and ledging, and in many cases, eliminate the need for secondary finishing operations.

DM/MDM Series Endmills

The RobbJack says its DM/MDM series with new carbide and coating combination, eliminates or reduces the need for polishing, reduces wear by 909 percent, holds tighter tolerances and lasts 450 percent longer than comparable carbides and coatings designed for hard metal applications.
