The LT722D, available with a 2.5kW Co2 laser source, can cut mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (some alloys).  The LT Fiber EVO, available with a 2 or 3kW fiber laser, can also cut these materials as well as copper, brass and galvanized steel.  Both versions handle bar weights up to 10.2 lb/ft (15 kg/m) and loading lengths of either 21’ or 28’ (6.5 or 8.5m) and unloading lengths of 11.5”, 15” or 21” (3.5, 4.5 or 6.5m).

A perfectly timed sequence becomes apparent for truck differentials, it consists of three individual parts before production starts: two housing parts and the ring gear. These each weigh up to 130 kilos (287 lbs) and have a diameter of up to 600 millimeters (24 in).

A line of field-replacement CO2 laser optics that offers a wide selection of focal lengths for accurately cutting stainless steel and phenolic gaskets has been introduced by Laser Research Optics.

A new line of ZnSe laser focusing lenses that come in various focal lengths for 200 W to 4 kW CO2 cutting lasers processing heavy steel plate has been introduced by Laser Research Optics.

BLM Group USA has announced its LT8.20 laser tube cutting system that allows users to choose their preferred laser source, loader/unloader style and positioning of the peripheral equipment to maximize floor space. The LT8.20 can handle cutting diameters of up to 9.5” and bar weight up to 27 lb./ft.

Amada Miyachi America Inc. announces the new WL-300A laser processing workstation, configured for nanosecond-pulsed fiber laser applications. This laser workstation is a larger version of the LMWS laser marker workstation that is designed to accommodate larger parts.
