CNC Probing Recorder Software Package

Marposs introduces the CNC Probing Recorder software package — an automatic measurement, report and process control acquisition system for statistically analyzing measurement results using Marposs’ optical and radio touch probes. The software is designed to analyze production processes, allowing prompt, corrective actions to be taken to prevent production of low-quality workpieces.

OEM Factory Calibration of Laser Trackers

API Services’ ISO 17025-accredited laser tracker calibration facilities provide OEM factory calibration of laser trackers at its Newport News, Virginia; Rockville, Maryland; and Plymouth, Michigan, facilities. In 2019, API calibrated more than 200 laser trackers. A special program of advanced scheduling minimizes tracker customer downtime and an optional laser tracker loaner program keeps customers measuring while the tracker is undergoing its annual calibration.

HR-600 Hardness Tester

Mitutoyo America Corp. announces the release of the HR-600 hardness tester into its line of precision measuring instruments. The HR-600 series combines functionality for Rockwell hardness testing and for Light Force Brinell testing in a single machine, expanding the range of available measurements.

SCT Current Converters

With the new SCT current converters, Beckhoff Automation completes the power measurement chain that now ranges from measuring physical values to transmitting captured data to the cloud. Continuous, system-integrated power measurement allows users to perform extensive inline analyses, for example, to detect and correct deviations quickly in order to minimize downtime.

The L.S. Starrett Co. has introduced a flexible selection architecture that enables the range of Starrett force and material testing software programs to be compatible with its different test frame series. This interchangeable system architecture increases application versatility, providing users a wider range of solution options from basic to advanced, for their specific force and material testing needs.

ALTERAC Coordinate Measuring Machines

A range of coordinate measuring machines has been introduced by British manufacturer LK Metrology that offer high accuracy and repeatability in a compact footprint. Manufactured at the company's factory near Derby, the new ALTERAC machines are available in three sizes - 7.7.5, 10.7.5, and 10.7.7 - their respective X-, Y- and Z-axis movements being 700 x 650 x 500 mm, 1,000 x 650 x 500 mm and 1,000 x 650 x 650 mm.
