Measuring/Inspecting

DataSure 4.0

The Starrett DataSure 4.0 System operates on the latest wireless networking technology that uses short-wave radio frequencies to interconnect cell phones, computers and wireless electronic devices, enabling much faster speed, greater bandwidth and longer range for higher data throughput. The range of DataSure 4.0 is ten to twenty times that of any data collection system on the market.

PolyScan XL

The PolyScan XL6 is designed to measure parts up to 1600 mm, combining 12 cameras and 12 projectors to provide 210 effective scanning units. It is ideal for medium-to-large aerospace castings, or automotive sheet metal components. Complete inspection of parts is achieved in only 6 minutes. Surround design and simplicity of automation means it can be easily integrated into a production line, while being 100% safe for operators.

Metrology Gate Portal

Consistent with the aims of Industry 4.0, the new Metrology Gate portal provides remote access to information on the status and performance of all connected metrology devices. Information available includes measurement results and a summary of errors, a record of program changes, uptime of the CMMs and OEE (overall equipment effectiveness). Historical logs assist troubleshooting and warn when routine maintenance is due, not only of the inspection machines but also of the machine tools or other equipment on which the components are being made.

Decorated Micrometers

Made in Athol, MA U.S.A., the themed T436.1 Micrometers are accurate, rugged, and feature renowned Starrett quality workmanship. The micrometers feature .0001" graduation, ratchet stop, lock nut, and carbide measuring faces on the anvil and spindle. No-glare satin chrome finish on the thimble and sleeve with staggered lines and distinct figures provide precise and easy readability.

MicroScan3 Laser Scanners

Originally launching in 2016, the microScan3 is an extremely intelligent and durable safety laser scanner that enhances machine availability and productivity due to its safeHDDM scanning technology. It provides flexibility for safe automation processes with simultaneous protective fields, contour detection fields, and detailed data output. In addition, the microScan3 offers a 9-meter protective field range with a scanning angle of 275o.

T40CB TorqueTransducer

This compact model, measuring a mere 49mm/54mm in length and the central bore hole with a diameter of 37.5mm/ 46.5mm, provides technicians with the flexibility and user-friendliness necessary for carrying out application tests on automotive parts, such as coaxial transmissions or gearboxes.

5074A Digital Charge Amplifier

The 5074B also comes with two features that deliver major operational improvements. The new amplifier is ready to operate within around six seconds, as compared to the previous time of 30 seconds for each startup procedure – so users save valuable time. This improvement has a direct impact on plant availability, especially for modular plants with swappable hot-plug modules. Another innovation: the two energy paths in the M8 connectors are now separated so that additional standard devices can be connected as per the industry standard without extra considerations.

Artec 3D Handheld Scanners with HD Mode

Powered by Artec 3D‘s AI neural engine, users can obtain sharp 3D scans with a resolution of up to 0.2 mm. Trained on hundreds of thousands of carefully selected samples, the engine’s neural network detects familiar patterns, surface details and shapes. This allows the 3D scanner to reconstruct a higher number of polygons per frame, resulting in 3D data that’s both denser and higher quality. Now, the desired HD density can be selected from a standard 1X density up to 36X for Eva  (~3 mln polygons per frame) and 64X for Leo (~5 mln polygons per frame).

CD2000 Integrated Camera Display

The 12.5-inch, anti-glare screen has a maximum resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels with parameter adjustments such as exposure, white balance, and resolution. Other adjustments include freeze, sharpness, record mode, language settings, formatting, color, spectrum image quality, fast preview, image rotation, and customized crosslines, grids, and concentric circles.

EL51xx EtherCAT Terminals

The new EtherCAT Terminals acquire incremental signals with high frequencies up to 5 MHz and feature many parameterization options and integrated functions that enable optimum adaptation to control tasks. Each terminal offers an integrated sensor supply, which is parameterizable to 5, 12 or 24 V. Users can easily connect encoders with differential RS422, 5 V TTL or open collector interfaces. Based on internal pull-up resistors, no external wiring is required for open collector analysis.
