Revolution HB Shop Floor CMM

To help companies meet tolerances and achieve repeatability, Advanced Industrial Measurement Systems (AIMS), a maker of coordinate measuring machines (CMM), recently introduced the Revolution Series HB Shop Floor CMM, the Dayton, Ohio-based company announced in a Jan. 22 news release. Designed and built around Renishaw 5-axis technology, the Revolution HB is said to be the only mobile 5-axis CMM on the market.

TESASTAR

Hexagon Metrology Inc. announced the immediate availability of new versions of the TESASTAR-m and TESASTAR-sm motorized probe heads for Brown & Sharpe and Sheffield branded coordinate measuring machines shipped from the North Kingstown, R.I., factory.

MCA II articulated arms

Nikon Metrology recently introduced the MCA II range of articulated arms with a measurement volume between 1.8 meters and 3.6 meters in diameter. Equipped with the brand new ModelMakermmDx, the MCA II is an ultra-modern and accurate handheld scanning combination that is said to handle every inspection task, regardless of specimen size, material and location.
