PI’s hexapod 6-axis motion controllers and hexapod software are based on decades of experience with parallel kinematic motion systems. They are easy to program, allow the user to change the center of rotation with one command, and come with high level alignment functions built in. Hyperion’s materials experts specially engineered grade AM110 to optimize the hardness, toughness and galling resistance required for machining superalloys in today’s demanding industrial applications. Equipped with ultra-low noise PWM drives, the A-811 single axis controller integrates a closed loop servo controller with drive in a compact case. The G-901 controllers are also based on ACS hardware and EtherCat® connectivity, providing up to 1500W output per axis.

Parylene is the ultimate protective coating, and is used for customers that require protection of equipment, components, and surfaces in a range of end-use applications. Parylene is a hydrophobic polymer which is lightweight and can be applied as an extremely thin homogeneous film. This film is absolutely smooth and totally transparent, and does not cause any unwanted effects such as surface tension and distortion. The coating provides incredible resistance to aggressive media and liquid hydrocarbons, and can also be used as a diffusion barrier to gases.

ANCA has designed a special dental drill loading kit including tailored RoboMate pallets for FX machines using a Fanuc 200iD robot loader. The pallet top allows a reduction of the insertion depth of the shank with an 8mm pocket depth, so that drills with only 10mm of available shank length can be loaded. The robot grippers have also been modified for the reduced thickness of medical tools. The medical gripper can accommodate Ø2-10mm x 100mm with a maximum head diameter of 14mm.
