MaxiMill 491 Mill System

Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT has introduced the MaxiMill 491 milling system, engineered for easier use, more parts per shift, faster changeovers and profiles of exactly 90°. The MaxiMill 491 system offers eight smooth-cutting edges per insert to provide significant increases in production and savings, the company said.

The latest positive axial rake, high-feed cutter from Dormer Pramet allows it to be applied with multiple materials across various applications. The Pramet Penta HF is an aggressive high-feed cutter suitable for machining a variety of materials, including heat-treated and difficult-to-machine steels, stainless steels and heat-resistant superalloys (HRSA).

Proto·maxST Z-5 Milling Tool

Walter has introduced a new version of its Walter Prototyp Proto▪maxST high-performance, solid-carbide milling tool designed for optimal performance on steel with secondary applications in stainless steel. This new entry in the Walter Prototyp lineup is called the Proto·maxST Z-5, available with the same tough yet wear-resistant TAZ coating that is offered in the original 3- and 4-flute variations of the Proto·maxST.
