EcoShield VpCI-144 is one of the latest additions to Cortec’s growing portfolio of over 30 USDA-certified biobased products. EcoShield VpCI-144 can now display a unique USDA label showing it contains 69% USDA-certified biobased content. This is the portion of the product that comes from a renewable source, such as plant, animal, marine or forestry feedstocks.

Manufacturers and shippers can easily add corrosion protection to their current packaging process by using Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film (Hand Wrap). Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film serves the same purpose as normal stretch film but also contains vapor phase corrosion inhibitors that protect metals from corrosion. This is especially important for metal components being prepared for export shipment in uncontrolled environments where fluctuating temperatures and humidity could easily cause condensation corrosion.
