Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film

Manufacturers and shippers can easily add corrosion protection to their current packaging process by using Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film (Hand Wrap). Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film serves the same purpose as normal stretch film but also contains vapor phase corrosion inhibitors that protect metals from corrosion. This is especially important for metal components being prepared for export shipment in uncontrolled environments where fluctuating temperatures and humidity could easily cause condensation corrosion.

VpCI-126 Film and Bag Technology

Automakers and parts suppliers know that the value of auto parts adds up quickly. They also know that corrosion throws an unwanted obstacle into the process of making parts and safely delivering them to the customer. Employees must do rework. Customers are unhappy. Shipments are returned. In a worst-case scenario, the goods are a total loss. Cortec’s VpCI-126 top-quality film and bag technology is a welcome relief to avoiding corrosion problems and preserving value in the auto industry.

Desicorr VpCI Desiccant Technology

Among Cortec’s wide variety of corrosion inhibiting solutions is Desicorr VpCI desiccant technology, whose synergistic action between desiccant and vapor-phase corrosion Inhibitors provides enhanced corrosion protection. Desicorr VpCI pouches are specially designed two-sided pouches containing a unique combination of desiccant and vapor phase corrosion inhibitors (VpCI). These pouches are suitable for protecting packaged ferrous and nonferrous metals from corrosion.
